Coaching for mid-life professionals who are experiencing career uncertainty — and want to look forward to life again.

If the commissions have dried up, the new MD has reassured you your job’s safe (before firing half the floor), or you’ve just survived another restructure but aren’t sure you’ll make it to the next one — you’re not alone.

I’ve been there.

I’m Dr Andy Sockanathan, The Reframing Coach.
I spent 15 years in TV — creating shows like Beat The Chasers and Tenable, sitting in more strategy meetings than is medically advisable, and watching more restructures than boxsets.

I know what it’s like when the promises never land, when the canteen chat turns to exit plans, and when the adrenaline that once kept you going starts to feel like burnout.

I’ve reframed myself more than once.

From philosophy lecturer at Goldsmiths, to music tour manager, to BAFTA-winning exec, to coach. Each time, I had to face uncertainty, get creative, and redesign my future from the ground up.

How I work.

My approach borrows from the creative industries — using design principles like reframing, iteration, and curiosity to redesign the way you think, and in turn, the way you work.

This isn’t therapy.
And it’s not corporate cheerleading either.
It’s coaching that blends philosophy, creativity, and lived experience — helping you shift perspective, find clarity, and commit to what comes next.
